Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, is already making plans for life without Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Saturday, it emerged that Ronaldo wants to quit Old Trafford.

The Portugal captain is desperate to leave the club for the second time after they failed to qualify for the Champions League and have failed to add to their squad.

According to Mirror Sport, Ten Hag will urge United to replace the 37-year-old with Ajax forward Antony if Ronaldo leaves.

The Red Devils felt they had been priced out of a move to bring in Antony when the Dutch club slapped a £70 million price tag on his head.

But Ten Hag will put pressure on his new employers to splash the cash on the 22-year-old.
