“That dance where you lift your leg and smack your private part is disgusting” — Media personality Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi has criticised ladies following a viral dance trend, describing it as “disgusting” and “crass” while questioning whether people who perform it can be considered classy.

The media personality made his remarks in a viral video, where he expressed particular disappointment at seeing women participate in the dance.

Buchi said the dance, which involves lifting one’s leg and smacking one’s private area, makes performers appear “unprincipled”, “uncultured” and “uncouth”.

He also questioned the upbringing and education of people who engage in the dance, saying he would not follow anyone who performs it.

“I’m here to tell you guys that that dance you do where you lift your leg up and you smack your private part is disgusting and it makes you look so crass. It makes you look so so much of a joker.”

He continued by arguing that expensive clothing does not automatically make someone classy.

“And it’s so sad that you see a lot of women doing it and tomorrow these same women will claim to be classy. You think class is all about wearing designers.”

Buchi further suggested that a person’s behaviour could undermine whatever values they were taught while growing up.

“No matter how much money you have, we will always know that you are crass and that you have no levels and that your parents did not raise you well or probably they did raise you well but you threw away all of that training.”

However, he acknowledged that people have the right to make their own choices, while insisting that he is equally entitled to his opinion.

“But no, your body, your choice. Well, your body, your choice, my mouth, my opinion, my mind, my perception of you.”
