“They don’t care what you’ve achieved, all that matters is marriage!”- Toke Makinwa addresses critics

Recently, there were speculations that Toke Makinwa had made peace with hubby Maje Ayida, but she clarified her status through a series of posts where she maintained that she is now single.
The 31-year-old’s marriage to trainer Maje Ayida crumbled last year after he cheated on her and got his mistress pregnant.

Now she is firing back at her critics who always inundate her with the marriage question. As it is with a lot of Nigerians, they have been barraging her with marriage questions because they feel she belongs in a man’s house. She contends that Nigerians only care about a woman’s marital status and never focus on her achievements.
