“This is pure hate”- Nigerian woman responds to female X-user’s public comment after the user insinuated that her boyfriend would treat her poorly like he did with his previous ex-partners

A small incident occurred on a platform, X, when a Nigerian woman criticized another female user for publicly commenting on her boyfriend Femi’s affectionate video with her. While many people were celebrating their relationship, a user named @edna_reese decided to send a public message to Simisanya, Femi’s girlfriend.

In her message, @edna_reese suggested that the way Femi was publicly celebrating their relationship was similar to how he had done with his previous girlfriends before revealing his ‘true’ self. She mentioned that Femi’s ex-girlfriend, Folake, who lives in Ibadan, had also experienced public displays of affection from Femi until things took a turn.

Simisanya noticed the message and responded, dismissing it as baseless hate. She argued that if @edna_reese genuinely cared, she should have sent a private message instead.
