Financial instructor, Kalu Aja has expressed concern over the economic hardship in Nigeria after seeing loaves of breads being sold in halves in a store to allow poor consumers buy.
He shared a photo showing half a loaf of sliced bread on the shelf in the store.
He called it “shameful and painful” as he addressed the poverty in Nigeria.
He wrote on X: “This is sachet bread, sold in 234.
“Omo, this is shameful and painful at the same time
“I commend the bakery for thinking outside the box. I weep for the eviscerated middle class.
“If bread is sold in slices and spaghetti in bundles, then the poverty smells like a two weeks dead goat in a beautiful mansion
“God help you because that’s where your only help will come from.”
