Tinubu Tapes: How O To Ge was imposed on Kwarans by Tinubu

A leaked recording of Tinubu telling APC faithful’s about his influence in installing Rauf Aregbesola and Gboyega Oyetola as governors of Osun State has emerged. In his statement in the leaked tape, he stated that Osun people were angry with him for imposing Oyetola on him. He asked if there was anything wrong with installing a person who has learned well from him. Speculations from Ilorin, show that such sentiments play out in Kwara state, where the people feel that Abdulrazak Abdulrahman is Tinubu’s stooge. 

There has been rumors of an alleged agreement of 2bn Kwara Taxation deal between Tinubu and Abdulrahman, once he becomes governor. Kwarans who spoke about Tinubu’s influence on the O To Ge movement, showed that they know about his influence on the Osun governorship and how Oyetola is his stooge. A certain Kwaran who was interviewed in Ilorin, who claimed anonymity, stated thus, “Omotoshe is the person Kwarans would have preferred, but Tinubu wanted AA and there is nothing they can do about it.”
