Tinubu Visit: Wike Desperate For Favour, Accommodation – Shehu Sani

Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has lashed out at Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

He expressed disappointment after Wike declared Wednesday public holiday in the state to welcome President-elect Bola Tinubu.

Sani said it’s a mark of desperation for favour and accommodation.

His statement is contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Recall that Wike had declared Wednesday May 3 public holiday over Tinubu’s two-day visit to the state.

Tinubu is also expected to commission some projects while in the State.

However, Sani, a social critic, said that Wike grounding economic activities because of Tinubu’s visit was a mark of desperation for favour.

He wrote, “Commissioning a project is a mark of a great achievement. Kudos. But grounding the economic, social and educational activities of the state for that purpose is a mark of desperation for favour and accommodation by a lickspittle. Tinubu can say no to that or else it becomes the norm.”
