Transfer: Embarrassing – Toni Kroos Blasts Chelsea, Liverpool Target For Joining Al Ahli

Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos has expressed concern after Gabri Veiga’s opted to sign for Al Ahli instead of some top European clubs seeking for his signature.

Kroos said the decision by Veiga is embarrassing.

Veiga was regarded as one of the La Liga’s most exciting young midfield talents and had been attracting interest from a host of top clubs in Europe this summer.

Liverpool and Chelsea had been linked with the Spain Under-21 international but it appeared that Napoli had won the race to sign him even up until Wednesday.

However, a late change of heart has seen Veiga perform a U-turn and he will now sign for the Saudi Arabia club instead, according to Fabrizio Romano.

When Romano posted the news via his Instagram account last night, Kroos replied to the post, saying, ‘embarrassing.’
