U.S Delta Airplane Crashes Upside Down In Toronto (Video, Photos)
🇺🇸 Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines flight operated by Endeavor Air CRJ700 plane from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport crash while landing at 🍁 Toronto Airport on February 17, 2025.
Reports indicate the aircraft experienced a flap actuator failure, causing a hard landing that led to the plane overturning near the runway.
Videos circulating online show thick plumes of black smoke rising from the wreckage, with the aircraft resting upside down. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to contain the situation and assist any passengers and crew onboard.
Authorities have yet to confirm details regarding injuries or casualties. Investigators are examining the circumstances leading to the mechanical failure and assessing the impact on airport operations.
The aircraft involved in the crash is Mitsubishi CRJ900, registered as N932XJ. Further, it is a 15.6-year-old aircraft and has been with Delta Connection since 2013. The aircraft is powered by Two GE CF34-8C5 engines.
