“We don’t know if he is still alive or dead” – Man raises alarm over his Uncle kidnapped five months ago and is still being held by the abductor despite receiving the N12 million ransom

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to raise alarm his Uncle who was kidnapped five months ago and is still being held by the abductor despite receiving the N12 million ransom they demanded. 

In a series of posts shared on X, the man named Ubawuike stated that his Uncle was kidnapped in Umudagu Mbieri in Imo state while his wife was pregnant. He stated that the kidnappers demanded a ransom for N12 million and this was paid in full to them. He said three months after the ransom was paid, no word has been heard from the kidnappers and that his family doesn’t even know if his Uncle is still alive or dead. 

He said that the kidnapped man’s wife recently gave birth to a baby boy and already has 2 girls, yet no one is rejoicing over the birth.
