Wike predicts Tinubu will win 2027 presidential election

Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election.

This was revealed in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Imranmuhdz, featuring an interview between Wike and a journalist who sought his views on the current political landscape and the upcoming 2027 election.

When asked if he would contest the presidency should it be zoned to the South, Wike gave a clear response, indicating he would not run against Tinubu, under whom he currently serves as a minister.

“I no go contest again. Why I go contest against somebody wey I dey work with?” Wike said.

The interviewer then asked if this meant he supports Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Wike replied, “Na who go win am?” implying that Tinubu has no strong opposition that could unseat him.

The video has since triggered reactions online, with many taking to the comment section to express their opinions.
