Flap Cap

Flap Cat is an openxus scratch 2 game project for Kids and other users, developed by the scratch team.

The Flap Cat game will be used in the forth coming Openxus Game Challenge.

The Challenge. 

It’s is all about beating the set score.

Perticipants have the chance to win the sum of N1000 if they can cross twenty (20) points score in the Flap Cat game.

The  Flap Cat Challenge is open every one provided they have a smart phone medium to play it on.

Below are the steps and conditions needed to play the Flap Cat game;

Step 1: Player must have access to a smart phone in order to play the Flap Cat game.

Step 2:   Start your phone’s Screen record, or download a screen record app and start it in order to record your game play, for score evidence or Screenshot.

Step 3: Click on the link above to navigate you to the Flap Cat game page.

Step 4: Once on the page, scroll down to mid screen untill you see the Flap Cat game.

Step 5: click on the green flag on the to left hand corner of the Flap Cat game to start playing.

How to play Flap Cat.

Set 1: Cat Movement

Tap on your phone screen, in the game play area to make the cat jump to enable you dodge any obstacle in your way

Set 2: Play Area

Player is’nt allowed to touch the left, right and top end of the Play Area as that will end the game session.

However the player is allowed to land on the ground which is known as the “ASPHELT”. NOTE: That the ASPHELT moves the player to the right end and also caries some obstacle that can end the game session.

Set 3: Paddle:

Paddle are the green colored bars that float at random from the right to left side of the play area. Player can land on the paddle as a support to dodge obstacles.

Set 4: Lightning Bolt

The player score is determined by the number of lighting bolt dodged. if the player comes in contact with the lightning bolt, this can also end the game session.

Set 5: Crab Obstacle

The Crab Obstacle  move from right to left  on the asphelt to prvent player from being to confortable on the asphelt.

Set 6: Bat Obstacle The Bat obstacle apears after the player has scored 5 points. The bat obstacle glides at random in the play area. Once the player touches the bat obstacle, the player’s score is reduced by -1.
