Keyamo took to Twitter to celebrate Elliot while slamming his opponents.

Spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Festus Keyamo, has congratulated Desmond Elliot for emerging winner of the Surulere 1 constituency seat.

Desmond reportedly defeated the youthful Olumide Oworu of the Labor Party.

LP Supporters, popularly known as Obidients, had vowed to vote for Oworu to defeat Desmond Elliot.

The lawmaker had on his Instagram page posted a video of his visit to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, thanking him for his support towards the state assembly election.

He described Gbajabiamila as his father, mentor, leader, and speaker of the nation.

Reacting to the clip, Keyamo on Twitter wrote, “Congratulations, Desmond Elliot. You prevailed over ‘these children’ at last.”
